Three Pillars

How the Transition Programme Works

1. Adapt to the rhythm

  • Familiarising children with common routines: the class bell, queuing, posture, raising a hand, break time, copying from the board — so they feel unafraid once school starts.

2. Build independence

  • Basic self-care: packing the bag, submitting homework, looking after stationery, using the toilet, table manners, queuing discipline — so they learn to care for themselves.

3. Build study habits

  • Key foundations: focus, following instructions, basic writing, pencil grip, reading habits, copying skills — giving children a strong learning start.
